Hence we have planned to screen anti arthritic activity of fruit of the plant with the alcoholic and aqueous extracts. Fruit powder successively extracted with alcohol and water were subjected for Phytochemical screening to identify different phytoconstituents. LD50 studies for both (alcoholic and aqueous) extracts were conducted up to the dose level of 2 g /kg by following OECD up and down method of guidelines No.425.Anti-arthritic activity in Formaldehyde, Freund’s adjuvant induced arthritis in rats and Collagen induced arthritis model in mice.
<Email>polireddy0004@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>5</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2015</year><keyword>M. cymbalaria fruit,Formaldehyde,Freund’s adjuvant,collagen. anti arthritis</keyword><AUTHORS>P.
