As per phytochemical investigation the extract shows presence of flavanoids, tannins & saponins. The aqueous extract of Shorea robusta with a dose of 100, 200 & 500 μg/ml, was taken for the activity & compared with the standard Diclofenac doses of 20 & 40 μg/ml, in HRBC membrane stabilization model and same dose of extract was taken for activity & compared with Aspirin 200 μg/ml, using Heat induce haemolytic method. The extract of 500 μg/ml showed good result in both models.
<Email>pankajherbs@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>3</volume><issue>2</issue><year>2013</year><keyword>Shorea,Anti-inflammatory,Membrane,Haemolytic</keyword><AUTHORS>Pankaj Nainwal,Ritika Bhatt,Deepak Nanda,Prem Saini</AUTHORS><afflication>Dev Bhoomi Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Chakrata Road, Dehradun Uttarakhand – 243007, India.,Dev Bhoomi Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Chakrata Road, Dehradun Uttarakhand – 243007, India.,Dev Bhoomi Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Chakrata Road, Dehradun Uttarakhand – 243007, India.,Dev Bhoomi Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Chakrata Road, Dehradun Uttarakhand – 243007, India.</afflication></Article></Articles>
