This
retrospective analysis assessed outcomes and prognostic factors in 42 patients with RPLS. Tumor characteristics varied, with
well-differentiated and myxoid/round cell subtypes predominating. Surgical resection, often involving contiguous organs, was
the primary treatment modality. Despite aggressive management, tumor recurrence occurred in a significant proportion of
cases. Nevertheless, favorable survival rates were observed, emphasizing the importance of aggressive surgical intervention
and close monitoring in RPLS management
<Email>Murali@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>11</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2021</year><keyword>Retroperitoneal liposarcoma, Soft tissue sarcoma, Surgical resection, Disease recurrence, Survival analysis</keyword><AUTHORS>Dr Venkata Ravi Kumar T,Dr Murali Krishna Reddy CT</AUTHORS><afflication>Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery, Viswabarathi Medical College & General Hospital, RT Nagar, Penchikalapadu, Kurnool,Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery, Viswabarathi Medical College & General Hospital, RT Nagar, Penchikalapadu, Kurnool</afflication></Article></Articles>
