Soft tissue sarcomas, particularly retroperitoneal liposarcomas (RPLS), present challenging clinical scenarios. This retrospective analysis assessed outcomes and prognostic factors in 42 patients with RPLS. Tumor characteristics varied, with well-differentiated and myxoid/round cell subtypes predominating. Surgical resection, often involving contiguous organs, was the primary treatment modality. Despite aggressive management, tumor recurrence occurred in a significant proportion of cases. Nevertheless, favorable survival rates were observed, emphasizing the importance of aggressive surgical intervention and close monitoring in RPLS management
